TetraAnt 15.5 GHz Wideband

Two microstrip antennas in a single case, 15.5 GHz center frequency, wideband

  • Frequency range 14,5 - 16.5 GHz
  • Two separate patch wideband antennas in a single case
  • Mutual coupling between antennas better than -38 dB; -45dB @ 15.5 GHz
  • Peak gain: 7 dBi
  • HPBW: 81 x 60 deg @ 15.5 GHz
  • Polarization: linear
  • Polarization plane the same for both antennas
  • Connector SMA(f) x 2, at the back
  • Dimensions: 135 x 62 x 11 [mm] (without SMA connectors)
  • Mass: 45 g

Important Feature:

  • Small, light mass and durable
  • For professional application

The TetraAnt 15.5 GHz Wideband antenna was originally designed as the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) noise radar antenna. The important feature is a small size compared to the credit card, a durable construction, low mass and a isolation about 40 dB.

Despite the mutual coupling is about -38 dB, the antenna shows a good broadband performance. It operates in the 14.5–16.5 GHz range, with a center frequency of 15.5 GHz.
